Larry Schultis, Founder
Larry Schultis has over 20 years of experience negotiating technology transactions and outsourcing agreements. He has represented both technology consumers and vendors – including significant outsourcing arrangements for major healthcare providers, utilities, a Big Four accounting firm, and one of the world’s largest financial institutions. He has also represented a variety of service providers, including a top-ten consulting firm, market leaders in network security software and credit card processing, broadcast networks, numerous software developers, as well firms providing customer care, patient records and video processing services.
Prior to starting Schultis Law, Larry spent ten years engaged in IP transaction work as a partner at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman. But it’s his prior experience in the IT industry that gives Larry an edge over many other lawyers. Larry first worked as a programmer, then a systems analyst, and finally an IT director for a prestigious law firm. Although the technology has changed since Larry’s early days in IT, his real-world experience in IT project delivery that gives him a unique perspective and insight into his clients’ businesses, and enables him to offer a blend of legal experience and business strategy to complement corporate management.

Stefan Gerwinat, Of Counsel
Mr. Gerwinat is an experienced outsourcing and IT lawyer, as well as a commercial negotiator. He leads large-scale IT and business process outsourcing negotiations, with co-ownership of strategy, commercial issues, technical/solution issues, and contract terms. He has over 16 years of experience in IT and outsourcing transactions, having represented both suppliers and customers, including 3 years as a sourcing advisor with Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman. His perspective on deals is enriched by years of hands-on experience as an IT practitioner in software design and in working directly with CIOs to run IT operations and sourcing programs.
His deal sheet includes all types of IT outsourcing, many kinds of BPO, multi-vendor technology sourcing programs, complex technology development and systems integration, managed services, inbound and outbound licensing, IP portfolio commercialization, strategic alliances, marketing and distribution agreements, as well as technology-related disputes and corporate compliance matters. He has negotiated over USD 6 billion in contract value, working in 8 countries, and in several languages.

Erica Grace Martin, Associate
Ms. Martin is an associate at Schultis Law Group. Since joining, she has focused her practice on services agreements, service levels, and other similar technology transactions.
Prior to joining Schultis Law Group, Ms. Martin worked as an Intellectual Property attorney for a media company where she handled media contracts, licensing agreements, and trademarks.
Ms. Martin received her Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy from Morgan State University in 2005, her JD from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2009 and her LL.M. in Intellectual Property from The George Washington University Law School in 2011.

Jacob Weis, Associate
Before joining SLG, Jacob served as Associate Counsel at an encrypted messaging company, focusing on evolving Privacy and Data Security regulations. Jacob also partners with the Human Rights Foundation to publish on global matters of Digital Free Speech.
Jacob studied English and Creative Writing at Yeshiva University, earned a Master’s of Science in Journalism from Columbia University, and his J.D. with a concentration in Data Law from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
Jacob is admitted to practice in New York, under his legal name, Yakov T. Weis.
